This piece was inspired by a commission of a large full size triptych, which I should be painting soon. The flowers were from my own backyard garden. Stunning tulips! This painting won a merit award at the Annual PAL Art Show at the Harrington Art Gallery in Pleasanton, CA. in Sept. 2011! Oil on masonite. These are meant to be "hung" on a miniature wall in a modern setting to simulate the trend of art on "wrapped" canvasses without any frame. The edges are painted to continue the image around to the sides. Note: This piece is now floating in a larger frame and is offered at a discount of $30. is offered if you prefer them unframed. This piece is a one of a kind painting and is offered on a "first come, first served" basis. These don't look right on easels because you would need three. A full size version is available as a print on canvass (see full size page) Color copies are also available individually framed to be displayed in a group, without frames but mounted on board to simulate an unframed stretched canvass for $22.00 or unframed for $4.00 or as a magnet for $4.25.
