Won a Silver Award at the 2010 Alameda County Fair!
I came upon this heron while on a trip to the San Fransisco Zoo. He wasn't one of the exhibits. He was a wild heron who was hanging out with the pelicans in their pond! He seemed quite at home there and didn't mind me taking his picture at all. Oil on vellum (kid skin), framed in a miniature hardwood frame. This piece is a one of a kind painting and is offered on a "first come, first served" basis. Note: This piece is now floating in a larger frame and is a discount of $30. is offered if you prefer just the miniature frame. At the Alameda County Fair in Pleasanton until mid July, 2010. Color copies are also available framed in a simple wooden frame for $22.00 or unframed for $3.50 or as a magnet for $3.75.
