These tiny pieces are turned from the "taugu nut" or vegetable ivory. This material looks so much like ivory except it is more translucent, without any cracks and of course no elephants were involved. The nut comes from the South Pacific and is made into many useful items. A renewable rainforest product. Each of these tiny vases are suitable for a 1/12 in scale dollhouse or even a 1/24" scale house. It depends on if you want it to be a small vase or a large vase.
