This is what I paint most of my pieces on. The texture replicates a miniature canvass in the dollhouse scale. I have pre-mounted and gessoed the silk onto an acid free paper. All you have to do is cut the "canvass" to the size you need and start painting away!
Canvasses may not be exactly 8" x 9".  This is a handmade product and each piece is unique because of it. Size is approximate. Meant to be cut into many smaller canvasses. Any flaws in the silk can be avoided by triming the piece appropriately.
