ADULT ART CLASSES

Note to Students:

There will not be any art classes on July 7th.

Classes are full.

Not accepting any new students.

Class Info:

The classes are small and intimate. Beginners welcome! You will get individual instruction in either drawing or painting in a variety of mediums, depending on your current skill level or interests. The class is geared towards each student and their goals. You tell me what you really want to learn. If you haven't drawn much before, I always recommend some drawing lessons, before painting. Some students have already drawn a lot and want to get to the next level and that's great too. Some students have begun painting already but are having trouble. Color mixing can sometimes be a challenge! Want to try out different mediums but don't want to invest a lot in case you hate them? Not a problem!  Most materials are included!

I have pen & ink, scratch board, block printing, dry point etching, colored pencils, pastels, watercolors, egg tempera, acrylics and oils.

Whatever your goals are, I'm here to help you out.

Friday evening class (12 & up) 6:00 - 9:00.   $120.  per month.

(sorry not refunds if you don't show)

I take cash, personal checks or PayPal.

Contact Barbara to be put on the waiting list.

If a month has 5 Fridays in it, I usually take one of them off. I post the days that I'm taking off above, for my students reference.

CHILDREN'S ART CLASSES

There will not be any art classes on July 7th.

Classes are full.

Not accepting any new students.

Class Info:

Your child will start out learning basic drawing skills and be introduced to drawing from life. He/she will also experiment with pastels, watercolor, oil painting, color pencil pen & ink, scratch-board, etc. Kids will be allowed free drawing time after their group projects are done. The students need at least eight classes of drawing before they are introduced to oil painting unless they show they already have good drawing skills.

Friday afternoon class (8 & up) from 3:30pm until 5:00pm. $90. per month .

Students should have a spiral bound sketchbook (9x12, 11x14), a 4B graphite pencil (not charcoal) and a kneaded eraser. A tote bag to carry supplies is also nice. The pencil and eraser set is available from Barbara for $1.50.

Students should wear old clothing that they won't have to worry about getting paint on and they should tie back long hair. Class size is kept small (around eight students) so Barbara can give each child the attention they may need with their projects.

Contact Barbara to be put on the waiting list.
